RVA Security and Consulting, LLC was founded in 2010 with a simple purpose: to support law enforcement officers and provide reliable security services where they were needed most.
Built on a Foundation of Law Enforcement Excellence
RVA Security was founded in response to a policy change requiring deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to carry their own liability insurance for off-duty assignments. Rather than navigate that challenge alone, our founder, Rudy Acosta, a seasoned law enforcement leader, built a licensed and insured agency that gave fellow officers a unified structure to continue working.
What started as a small, practical solution quickly evolved.Early growth was driven by opportunity and trust. After forming key relationships, RVA began supporting visiting teams from the National Football League, providing hotel security and police escorts throughout Arizona. Within a few years, that work expanded to supporting every team traveling into the state, marking a turning point in the company’s trajectory.
From there, RVA continued to grow through performance, relationships, and reputation.

Rudy Acosta brings 30 years of law enforcement experience with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, where he has served as a Detention Officer, Patrol Deputy, Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant. His career spans high-level criminal investigations, including homicide, robbery, and crimes against vulnerable populations, as well as command-level supervision of patrol and investigative units.
In addition to field operations, Rudy has played a significant role in training and developing law enforcement personnel. He has served as an instructor at the MCSO Training Academy, teaching cultural awareness, interviews and interrogations, and law enforcement communication. He has also instructed homicide investigators and served as Vice President of the Arizona Homicide Investigators Association.Rudy’s leadership philosophy is rooted in mentorship, discipline, and operational excellence, the same principles that define RVA Security’s culture and standards.
Jennifer Acosta serves as the Chief Financial Officer and operational backbone of RVA Security. With over 15 years of experience, she manages all financial operations, including billing, payroll, contract administration, and financial reporting for both private security personnel and off-duty law enforcement deployments.
She works directly with government agencies, corporate clients, and private organizations to ensure accurate billing, financial accountability, and seamless administrative support for security operations. Her role includes managing full-cycle invoicing, coordinating payroll for large-scale personnel deployments, and maintaining compliance across all contracts.
Jennifer is entrusted with highly sensitive financial and operational data and plays a critical role in ensuring organizational stability, efficiency, and long-term growth.

Ty Brooks serves as a key operational leader within RVA Security, overseeing logistics, personnel deployment, and client account management. He has extensive experience in unarmed security operations, including patrol, access control, incident response, and event security.
Ty plays a critical role in coordinating security operations for high profile clients and events, including law enforcement-assisted escort operations for organizations such as the MLB, NFL, NBA, NCAA, WNBA, and various celebrity and musical clients.
In addition to field operations, Ty manages staffing, scheduling, and operational planning while maintaining direct communication with clients to ensure expectations are met and exceeded. His ability to bridge field execution with administrative coordination is essential to RVA’s operational success.

Freddy Giles brings over 15 years of private security experience and has progressed from an entry level guard to a leadership role within RVA Security. His career reflects a deep understanding of security operations from the ground up.
Freddy is responsible for supervising personnel, managing schedules, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with site protocols and company standards. He plays an active role in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new team members, helping maintain consistency across all assignments.

Alexis Dinatele is a U.S. Air Force combat veteran with over 15 years of experience in high-accountability, safety-critical environments. She deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and the Horn of Africa, where she was responsible for maintaining aircraft readiness, supervising personnel, and ensuring strict adherence to military protocols.
In her role at RVA Security, Alexis oversees multiple contract sites, manages personnel, develops site-specific operating procedures, and ensures compliance with company and client standards. She is responsible for incident reporting, personnel accountability, and operational oversight.
Alexis also serves as a lead driver during coordinated escort operations alongside law enforcement, demonstrating her ability to operate within structured command environments and maintain discipline under pressure.
Jeremy Acosta oversees training and development for RVA Security, focusing on firearms instruction, defensive tactics, and de-escalation techniques. He has extensive experience training law-enforcement personnel, security personnel and civilians in real-world application and high-pressure scenarios.
